I spent some time reflecting on timelines after a recent meeting with a client. The topic was on how timelines are imposed by what is out there, our friends, colleagues, and especially social media. We need to achieve certain milestones in our lives/business, and pursue them by certain times. This external pressure to march to timelines that don’t match what we are crafting or pursuing often becomes a source of great anxiety.
